Hello! :) I’m currently an undergraduate majoring in Psychology in NUS, along with a minor in Life Sciences.
My decision to pursue Psychology is driven by a strong passion for understanding the intricacies of the human mind, and how best we can use this fascinating study to improve our lives. In particular, I have a deep conviction and commitment in protecting and supporting the mental health and well-being of today's youths. I'm equally as inspired by the transformative power of education, and truly believe in its potential to shape and empower youths. Having worked closely with adolescents in various jobs and volunteering experiences, I am continually inspired and in awe of their strength and resilience. Youths require so much more support than ever in the realm of mental wellness, especially as the demands and expectations placed on them have increased exponentially, and my belief is that we can do so much more to cushion the difficulties they face.While I continue to navigate my interests and look for a place to settle, the intersection of psychology and education is where I’ve found my sweet spot, and I am constantly seeking ways to contribute meaningfully to these areas. I sincerely believe in the power of connection, but more importantly a shared love and humanity for the causes we support.
