A Mitacs Accelerate project aims to develop a framework to determine the benefits of photovoltaic solar blinds to building owners. This project employed whole-building energy simulation, techno-economical modeling, and parametric analysis to compare perovskites PV blinds and conventional rooftop PV arrays.The outcome of this project was a standalone website dashboard presenting the main results of this research in an interactive and user-friendly way that non-technical people can use.Decision-makers can use the findings of this study during the early stages of design.
