As the project manager, I was responsible for managing a team of software and hardware engineers at ION and interfacing with out-source partners involved in the design and development of two key products, MSX Marine Seismic Acquisition and Recording system and DigiSHOT Energy Source Controller system. Also developed an Energy Source Array Modeling application for in-house use. Responsibilities included:• Developed product requirements and specifications based on input from marketing and development teams• Developed and Maintained Project Schedules for each product• Ensured that the project is delivered in budget, on schedule, and within scope through planning, controlling and monitoring• Negotiated and resolved issues as they arose across areas of the project and where they could impact on other activities, systems and projects • Created initial product structure for manufacturing purpose• Presentation of the technical aspects of the products to the clients' technical representatives and auditors• Involved in all aspects of Product Development and Commercialization of the MSX Marine Seismic Acquisition and recording System and the DigiSHOT Energy Source Controller.

As the lead product engineer, supervised a development team to design and develop the MSX™ Seismic Acquisition and Recording System.Responsible for design, implementation, integration and testing of the embedded software, Communication Protocols, Command and Control software, and GUI interfaces for MSX™ system utilizing VME-based Technologies and VxWorks embedded software, Sun Micro Systems technologies and Solaris/X-Windows/Motif Graphical User Interface

As a senior design engineer, I led the development and integration of two key products, WG-24™ Marine Seismic Acquisition and Recording System, and SSS™ Energy Source Synchronizer System.Responsible for design, implementation, integration and testing of the embedded software, Communication Protocols, Command and Control software, and GUI interfaces for WG24 and SSS systems utilizing VME-based Technologies and VRTX embedded software, Sun Micro Systems technologies and Solaris/X-Windows/Motif Graphical User Interface.

As a Design Engineer, I was responsible for design, development, and testing of hardware and software for the FiberSeis™ system, the first 24-bit Land Seismic Acquisition and Recording system with Fiber Optic technology in the market.Designed and developed Processor and controller boards for the FiberSeis™ system utilizing AMD bit-slice devices and Intel processors and controllers. Also, developed microcode and embedded low-level software and high-level user interfaces for this system.
