I was lucky to become a Starbucks partner in the early development of the Dallas/Fort Worth market and developed my abilities to lead a team of store partners. Attended Starbuck U learn how to create andmaintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers and partners. I was required to regularly and customarily exercise discretion in managing the overall operationof the store. In particular, a majority of time is spent supervising and directing theworkforce, making staffing decisions (i.e., hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining,discharging, staffing and scheduling), ensuring customer satisfaction and product quality,managing the store’s financial performance, and managing safety and security within thestore.
