Kimberly is a driven individual with a passion for law, education, and social justice. Based in Miami, Florida, she is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a minor in Religious Studies and a certificate in Laws, Ethics, & Society from Florida International University.With experience as a legal intern at the Florida Justice Center and a teacher candidate in the Teacher Accelerator Program, Kimberly has honed her research, analytical, and communication skills. Her work has ranged from providing legal support to low-income individuals and empowering communities impacted by the criminal justice system to developing lesson plans and assisting students in classroom environments. In addition to her academic and professional endeavors, Kimberly has taken on leadership roles, such as Director of Education and Outreach for FIU's Black Student Union. She has been involved in student organizations like Phi Alpha Delta and is a current and active member of SISTUHS, Incorporated. Through her internships, fellowships, and volunteer work, Kimberly is committed to developing her skills and knowledge in legal services in order to make a positive impact in the community.
