Key responsible for managing total safety vendors & safety staff at site. Driving implementation of the office HSE management system, HSE protocol and monitor HSE performance. Working with top management to develop annual HSE plans and implementation of these plans. Conducting Safety walks and talk audits. To implement HSE policies, standards, procedures and to achieve objectives & targets. To monitor HSE performance as part of Balanced Scorecard measures. To manage risk – hazard identification, risk assessment and risk mitigation/ control. To develop, implement and maintain strategies for safety management at ongoing and upcoming project sites with focus on contractor’s management, traffic safety in order to achieve objective of no harm to people. To assist in development, implement & maintain integrated management system as per ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, etc., including certification/ re-certification.
