About Khubaib Qureshi
Hello 👋! Let me give you a quick rundown about myself and then the rest you can find within my profile. Alongside being a third-year Actuarial student at ANU, I have been very heavily involved in the volunteer work that aligns with my values. I’ve always placed an emphasis on creating a better experience for others to build upon the culture at University. In 2024, I’ve been the President of the ANU Actuarial Society, where I’ve been actively investigating ways to implement change and continuously improve upon the work of past students!This year, I’ve also been working as an APS4 undergraduate accountant in financial reporting and tax. Within this role, I’ve gained experience in both departmental and administered financial reporting at the Department of Education, as well as annual TPAR and FBT lodgements. Recently, I’ve been working on analysing the methodology utilised within the team and have also been implementing efficiencies within such processes.Next year, I’m hoping to get started on the Actuary Program qualifications, and am very keen to apply this knowledge into the workplace.
