My responsibilities include proactive support and assistance to the Higher and Middle Management. Specific job responsibilities include:Manage entire operations of Treasury Front Office includes; trading in Foreign Exchange and Money Market deals.Managing placement of funds in the inter-bank market, on the basis of Musharakha, Mudarabah & Commodity Murabaha.Dealing in Foreign Exchange with respect to Trade Finance business.Monitoring purchase and sale of Shariah Compliant Government Securities.Presently working as Relationship Officer in Correspondent Banking in Dawood Islamic Bank Limited. We have 350+ correspondents to deal with and about 50+ branches and trade service centers that are involved in doing foreign trade business and seek our guidance for disposal of their day to day workings.To prepare credit reports, spread sheets and recommendations for the proposed exposures on our global as well as local counterparts.Issue quarterly business instructions to our FX dealing braches on the basis of business reciprocity.Develop products to meet business model of our counterparts and at the same time be income based for our organization.To respond day to day queries of our correspondents and resolve their issues with branches and vice versa.Monitor NOSTRO accounts.Streamline export bill collection business.Arrange discounting, negotiation and confirmation of export L/Cs on well established credit modules.Arrange issuance of guarantees against counter guarantee of our correspondents.Arrange confirmation of import L/C through most of the well reputed banks.Independently deal with all correspondent issues.Handle remittances in shape of FDD's and in various modes from banks and exchange companies around the globe.Set rebate packages for trade related business.Resolve trade and payment issues under international standards set by International Chambers of Commerce i.e. UCP 500/600, URG 422, URR 525 etc.

I route business from Asia to the rest of the world.
