I am a Clinical Professor and Chairman of the Department of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. With over two decades of experience, I specialize in comprehensive foot and ankle care, diabetic foot management, and advanced wound healing.I earned my Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University in 2001 and my Bachelor of Arts in Biology from New York University. My residency in podiatric surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where I served as Chief Resident, laid the foundation for my career in patient care, education, and research.At Temple University, I mentor students and residents, oversee clinical education, and chair the Curriculum Committee. My commitment to academic excellence has been recognized with numerous awards, including the TUSPM Student Choice Award for Clinician of the Year, which I have received multiple times.My research focuses on diabetic foot complications, wound care, and innovative treatments for lower extremity conditions. I have authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, and my work has been presented at national and international conferences. As a primary grant reviewer for the NIH and a principal investigator for several clinical trials, I am deeply involved in advancing podiatric medicine.I am board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery, and I hold fellowships with the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and the American College of Podiatric Medicine. At the Leonard S. Abrams Center for Advanced Wound Healing, I provide specialized care for complex foot and ankle conditions.Community service is a significant part of my life. I have volunteered for diabetic foot screenings and other health initiatives, and I am known for my compassionate approach to patient care.My mission is to enhance the quality of life for my patients through comprehensive care, innovative treatments, and a commitment to education and research.
