The California Sharks is a professional development football team founded in the San Fernando Valley and expanding south to San Diego, CA. Having participated in two national leagues, the Sharks have redirected our focus closer to home. As defending Spring Champions, we are preparing for our 5th season competing with wide-scale domestic and international talent.Our basic goal is to bring a spotlight to the often forgotten, or overlooked, athlete. As you know, young men aspire to pursue a career in professional sports yet find the stressors and responsibilities of a life take precedence. Additionally, life choices or poor academic performance preclude them from furthering their quest. Through Sports leadership programs like the California Sharks, we incorporate community outreach and sports-related initiatives to present these athletes with the optimal platform to present their craft, once again, to the professional sports community.Our program is is built on a scalable model that has become the national standard for professional development of football. Building on industry-leading commitment, vision and outreach initiatives, the Sharks bring stellar leadership working timelessly to unlock the potential of everyone within our program, on and off the field. Discipline, balance, and control are the values which transcend into the daily lives of our players. As we lead, we plan to seed for future Leaders. It is a very exciting opportunity for many young men.
