Joined BST Sayona Automation PVT LTD on the 27th of August ’07 during which the first eighteen months were spent in the factory of which the first six months were on training/probation. During that period spent maximum time on the shop floor learning the various stages of fabrication, repairs, final assembly, Spent time routinely with the purchase manager and store keeper to learn and understand the FIFO methods, the lead time required for various materials, Minimum Ordering Levels, Running Inventory Control, etc. After being promoted to the designation of Officer-Continuous Improvement, was in charge with the daily dispatches from the factory pan India. Was responsible for the Coordination of the provision of the spares and services from the factory to the various regions/customers. As of 27th Jan ’07 have been employed as Officer Strategic Marketing & Sales. Directly in charge of Gujarat, Kolkatta, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. Regularly visiting these regions to monitor the concerned sales force in charge and for further customer relationship improvement/strengthening, to address the various issues that hamper the order flow of business, and to be on the continuous lookout for further business prospects and develop new territories/regions. Check the weekly Rolling Activity and Quotation Reports of the mentioned regions and advice on the course of action accordingly. Have also been involved in the recruitment/selection of candidates for field and back office operations. Have participated and access employee appraisals for the above mentioned regions and together with the concerned sales in charge have helped form the sales budget. Have been appointed as the GM - Sales & Marketing as of May 2013.
