We are into food , namely sweets and snacks, with 3 outlets located at Lake Market, Burra Bazaar(Kolkata) and Howrah. We are a 94 year old brand and our signature product is Hot Boondia! My role is Business Automation, digital marketing, high end packaging, marketing collaborations and new product ideation and launch. Digital marketing has always been my fortay and I thought that this would be the best way for me to contribute. Hence, we are active and boast of an "eyeballs worthy" presence across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Google. We recently launched a healthy Snacks brand in the name of SnackWell. The brand is all about guilt free munching and health food.

I have no idea how I landed into this! I had always believed that Fashion is not my thing. Initially the idea was just to help my relatives in the business, but gradually I realized that I have a knack for Art, Photography, Designing and most importantly digital marketing. Online selling was a very new concept in India in those days, specially for designer clothes. I started trying to sell online through Ebay and gradually started doing aggressive social media marketing. We were almost the first movers in displaying all our designs online, thats a challenge in an industry where 50 % of the market is full of copies. I was also responsible for PR and gradually all the top Tollywood celebrities, including Koel Mullick, Priyanka Sarkar, Gargi Roy Choudhury, Sayantani GuhaThakurta and many more have been wearing Keyus for their Movie promotions and other events. I also started a new line of creative Jewellery as recycling project with leftover fabrics in the the name of KTwo.

I was fresh out of an Engineering College, a total techie! I had no idea about how a business runs, and here I was taking a plunge into my family business of Distribution of Steel Pipes, Galvanised Sheets, Pumps, Tanks, PVC Pipes etc. I was , frankly, pretty lost initially and didnt know what was going around me. However, I decided I should try doing what I know best, so I started working on Excel sheets to analyse data on Pivot tables and created MIS reports. Then I created an interface to make the data more interpretable by laymen. Parallely I was pursuing a Course of Management at SPJIMR, which helped me learn the nuances of running a business better. I started a new Showroom at Homeland mall in the name of Tata Structura Studio. We were giving turnkey solutions for Steel Structures like Industrial Sheds etc.
