Just like the surroundings are important for one to survive, for me, words are important for living and expressing. Engineer by degree and writer & poet by passion, I decided to switch my path from a technical discipline to a creative orbit.Previously, when I just used to sit on the rocks to get my feet wet, I started going deeper and deeper into this ocean of words- writing. I started swimming and trying to go away from the seashore, not because of the rocks, but because I wanted to measure the depth of this ocean. It has been quite a while now since I started writing. Slowly, even without realizing it, I was in the world of poetry. I started writing poetry. In no time, my poetry and write-ups started getting published in several anthologies worldwide. With my interest in writing poetry, I started posting them on my Creative Writing Page on Instagram.Not only that, I started performing my poetry pieces in several open mics, later hosting my own sessions online.Previously, this was just a hobby for me. Now, it has created a separate room for it in my heart, in fact, the largest room. I didn’t realize how it all happened. But I just love going into that room frequently, and today, I have shifted myself into that room permanently.I feel like this small room in my heart has become my world now. A world full of colorful words is inside me.I later came to know about an online magazine I joined later, published my articles online.On a journey of exploring myself, I developed my interest in Social Media. With the hope of digging deeper, I started taking some online workshops and courses which helped me begin my journey as a Social Media Manager. Currently, I am a part of the Social Media Management Pro course by MyCaptain, also certified and ratified by FilterCopy.It helped me develop my skills upon various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Quora, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other tools like Facebook Business Suite, Canva, Hootsuite, Buffer. Looking forward to working in this field and gaining more knowledge about the same.
