I am a dedicated and passionate researcher with a strong background in life sciences. Currently, I am working as a Junior Research Fellow at Panjab University, Chandigarh, on a DBT-sponsored project focusing on the whole genome-based analysis of mobile AMR determinants in bacterial pathogens from fish in North India. My research interests span across microbiology, fisheries, molecular biology, biotechnology, ornithology, animal physiology, animal ecology and biodiversity.Throughout my research career, I have gained extensive experience in various laboratory techniques such as DNA isolation, gel electrophoresis, primer designing, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), and antimicrobial susceptibility testing. I have also conducted significant research on the beneficial role of birds in maize and wheat crops, exploring their impact on ecosystem services like pest control.I actively engage in professional development through seminars and workshops. Proficient in software tools like MEGA, MS Office, SPSS, and more. I am also skilled in mentoring students in biology and statistics, helping them excel academically.
