I am a third-year Computer Science undergraduate student at the University of Calgary. Currently, I also work as a part-time receptionist at a medical centre. I am experienced in designing websites' front end using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript using frameworks such as Next.js. For the website backend, I am experienced with Javascript. Apart from that, I am also very experienced with Java, C, and Python. I constantly use and improve my skills in these programming languages through my classes, hackathons, and personal practice projects. While programming, I also improve my problem-solving and creativity skills. Moreover, I continue to use interpersonal skills such as communication, customer service, and organization in my part-time receptionist job. In my university courses, I improve skills such as collaboration and teamwork by working in teams to complete class projects. In my free time, I participate in hackathons because I can improve my collaboration skills and programming skills. Some of my other hobbies include reading, painting, volunteering, and spending time outdoors. I love to take pictures of the outdoors, and one picture can be seen in my background photo. I maintain these hobbies as it is important to keep a work-life balance for overall well-being, productivity, and satisfaction. As a learner, I thrive best in environments where I can strengthen my existing skills and learn new skills. I get very enthusiastic when learning new topics and skills, allowing me to learn the topics or skills well.
