I'm a third-year Bachelor of Commerce student majoring in Marketing, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Auckland. I believe my innovation and creativity skills would help me in the marketing field. I want to be an assistant marketing manager in the future. Marketing is a wide field, but as I want to overlook every department of the organisation, it is essential to be updated and work hard. Although, the Advertising department is intriguing as it will utilise most of my skills as a professional and layman. It would be exciting to create content for the consumers and understand their points of view. Analysing and taking decisions in scenarios is one of my key skills. I've tried to do a variety of courses at my university to enhance my learning and skills. I want to broaden my perspective and learn new things. I want to grasp new opportunities to intensify my capabilities for the future. I've done a few internships in various fields to educate myself and explore. Exploring is essential to learning as it challenges me to acclimate to new, different, complicated situations, scenarios and environments. I did internships in various fields, such as Marketing, Human Resources, Content Creation, Content Writing, Operations Supply and Management, etc. I did this to learn something new and understand the working culture of various companies. These internships have helped me develop my managerial skills, innovative skills, patience and a lot more. I believe that every situation in life is not what we always want, but they still teach us a lot. I learned to manage under strict circumstances and tight deadlines, which helped me work under pressure. As an aspiring Marketing manager, I want to get the company's voice and perspective to the consumers and vice-versa. Understanding the needs and aspirations of people and designing a product or service to their desire is my idea of success. Getting a brand's intention to the consumers is vital as if they see that the company is aligning with their mindset, they are persuaded to invest in that product/service. Working in what I believe is something I want to do. As a manager, I could utilise my innovation and entrepreneurship skills and put them to good use. For my future plans, I would like to pursue my Master's in Marketing and get hired as a Marketing Assistant and then a Marketing Manager. This field fascinates me as I enjoy taking on new challenges and solving them. After learning at the university and through internships, I'm now comfortable working individually and in teams.
