Awarded the prestigious DAAD's WISE Fellowship 2016 for research internship under Dr. Daniel Birgel at the Institute of Geology, University of Hamburg, Germany. The research topic was "Identification of Lipid Biomarkers in M. Marburgensis And Sediment Samples from a methane generating spring in Southern Spain.”The internship involved two interesting pieces of work:(i) Finding proxy for past geological conditions in sediment samples(ii) Finding the reason behind the humongous amount of Methane generated from a spring in Spain

Worked on a research project to understand the seismicity of Tehri Region (Uttarakhand) by tracing fault lines by processing and analyzing seismological Data under Dr. M.L. Sharma, Professor & Head, Department of Earthquake Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India, during the summer internship 2015.
