I worked as an editor for UBC's Journal of International Relations, which is UBC's longest-running undergraduate journal. My responsibilities included (1) critically reviewing over 80 undergraduate papers, (2) going through intensive processes in order to narrow the papers down to a select few, to then finally (3) meeting with an author of one of the selected papers to edit extensively to prepare the paper for publishing.

I've worked as a server at Bandra Cafe since its opening, which has allowed me to experience many different roles and business strategies. I have had experience being a server and a barista, allowing me to hone my skills in two different fields. I have also had experience managing the servers, hosts, food runners, and bar, which have all allowed me to adapt to leading a team in high-pressure, fast-paced situations.

Helping students with autism prepare for kindergarten, as part of the Kindergarten Readiness Program. This role allowed me to develop my skills in patience, empathy, and understanding, as well as allowing me to learn the basics of caring for a child.
