I'm responsible for team of engineering managers who oversee SDET engineers functions in current organization. Implementing QA and DevOps practices has allowed us to significantly reduce release cycles.Initially joining organization, deployment frequency to production was quarterly. Subsequently, under my leadership, the release cycles have been reduced to biweekly, enabling the immediate deployment of newly developed features upon readiness. I stepped up to lead the team in automating tasks for the Data Engineering Team crew. We're also transitioning to a Databricks development, testing, and production model. Key accomplishments- Leading team responsible for maintaining quality and infrastructure of 4 UI applications, 4 client-facing API applications, and multiple microservices.- Implementing PROCESS-CENTRIC automation practices within our DATA ENGINEERING teams.- Spearheaded the transition of codebase from Jupyter Notebooks to Databricks Repository, optimizing data processing workflows and enhancing collaboration across teams.- Managing STRESS-FREE release cycles, with 4-5 releases per week.- Leading strategic conversion of our applications from asp.net to modern applications using Angular.- Overseeing strategic conversion of Selenium Dot Net code to Protractor and, more recently, to Cypress. - This involves managing total of 10,000 plus tests across all applications.- Implementing automatic deployment as part of our nightly builds.- Established a robust mentorship program for junior engineers (levels 1 and 2), facilitating the professional growth of a team of 12 engineers initially hired at junior level.
