After a very successful 25 year career as a retained recruiter within the construction industry, I decided that I needed to take a break.During my time away, I started a 100% MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN custom bicycle parts manufacturing business that is now #1 in its sector and doing very well - kapz.com. As well as the bicycle business, with my curiosity into what makes people tick in mind, I also decided to undertake some extra studies.I am now just over half-way through a 5 year psychodynamic counselling course, which is really opening my eyes about human behaviour.Now a slightly different person, I feel ready to come back into a sector that I really love, with renewed energy, enthusiasm, some new skills and a new outlook ready for a new challenge.The market is somewhat different now and the skills needed by clients are in even more short supply. I believe that my approach, which has always been people and personality orientated, will be of significant advantage to my clients, should they decide to engage me on their quest to secure the right people for their business.
