Configuration Analyst
CurrentAs an IT Configuration Analyst at WSP, I drive the management and optimization of enterprise-wide Asset & Configuration Management to support the organization's global IT transformation. Reporting to the Practice Manager of Service Asset & Configuration Management, I ensure the integrity and accuracy of data within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), maintaining the highest standards for IT services.I process vendor shipping notices, onboard new infrastructure devices, and develop data health reports and dashboards to monitor and resolve any issues. I take responsibility for ensuring configuration items (CIs) are accurately created, maintained, and monitored using approved processes in ServiceNow. Through regular audits, I identify and resolve data discrepancies, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance asset and configuration management efficiency.In my role, I manage asset and configuration records during merger and acquisition projects, validating data to ensure seamless integration with company standards. I also oversee the monitoring of asset connectors, ensuring data gaps are addressed, and that the CMDB serves as a reliable source of information for the business.Leveraging my deep understanding of ITIL principles and extensive knowledge of ServiceNow, I continuously improve asset management processes.
