I previously served as the Dean of Curtin University, an Australian University ranked among the top 250 universities in the world. Having started my career in Corporate Strategy, market potential estimation, product development and branding, my passion for transforming individuals led me to flourish by working with high-potential leaders, executives and entrepreneurs, having conducted 250+ workshops across four continents. I have also worked as a leadership consultant for Government bodies in Nigeria, Ghana, Dubai, Maldives, Sri Lanka, and Mauritius. My passion for empowering women entrepreneurs drew me to bodies like SheDares (a conglomerate network of Al Ahli Group and Hult) Dubai SME, and Sheikh Rashid Foundation, and I have coached, mentored and trained over 300 + Emirati women professionals on branding, marketing, leadership skills and productivity enhancement. I am a Certified in Co-Active coach from CTI; USA, Professional Co-active coach from CTI, USA, Psychometric Test Professional by CAMI, USA and a NLP, UK. I am also certified in Transactional Analysis, from the ITAA (USA), and I also completed the most advanced level of Train the Trainers from CAMI (USA). In 2021, I was awarded the Senior Fellow Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), UK, for my contribution to Academic Leadership. I also hold an MBA (Marketing) degree, PG Degree in Human Resource Management and a Doctorate in Brand Personality Congruence. I am based in Canada and work as Marketing Discipline Faculty in the University of the Fraser Valley, Canada and as the Campus Director of Focus College, Canada. I also regularly contribute to Forbes and CNBC and serve as a Director on the Board of the Fraser Valley Indo-Canadian Business Association, Canada, Higher Education Digest, UK and All Hands, Sydney. My research areas are brand strategy, Strategic Marketing and Women’s Entrepreneurship and I have published several papers in ABDC-indexed journals and book chapters.
