I am honored to have been elected the Citywide School Board Representative for Muscogee County on May 20, 2014. As a business owner and former educator, I know I can represent the citizens well.My youngest and middle sons are currently students in Muscogee County schools. My oldest son graduated in Muscogee County and is now a college junior.I graduated from Hardaway then went on to Albany State. Both my husband, Travis, and I are Albany State alumni. After graduating from Albany State, I went on to earn an M. Ed. in Elementary Middle Grade Education from Troy University and an Ed. S. in Elementary Education from Troy. I also received my Gifted Certification from Columbus State University.I was the Academic Coach at Hannah Elementary for several years. I served as a Teacher Support Specialist, worked on the Student Support Team and was part of MCSD's curriculum construction team. I was also a university supervisor for teacher candidates for CSU. I was Teacher of the Year for Hannan Academy in 2004.Since 2006, I have been the Managing Broker for ERA Elite Ventures Realty. As Managing Broker, I run the company's daily business and finance operations.
