I am the Project Coordinator for the City of White Rock's Community Action Team. Brining together community members to develop a comprehensive and multi-sectorial response to the overdose crisis, which is an ongoing Public Health emergency in BC. Get Sensible - Youth-led cannabis education project.

Through Cannabis & Psychosis I have had the incredible opportunity of facilitating the Cannabis + Mental Health Project. As the project lead I am spearheading the development of an online course, for youth and made by youth, aimed to demystify the connection between mental health and cannabis.

I worked as a research assistant in an ongoing project aimed to conduct clinical trials for the substance Ibogaine in Canada. This ongoing work involves finding appropriate articles and organizing our findings in a way that is accessible to the researchers.

Working in a co-operative presented a new set of challenges. The freedom to direct my work where I saw fit allowed me to aid in the progress of the Hive Cafe beyond the Cafe duties like making drinks and prepping food. I spearheaded initiatives like The Growing Committee, where I introduced and cared for plants in the space, and The Art Committee, where we brought empty wall-space to life with students’ artwork. Attending board meetings and monthly worker meetings gave me ample opportunity to hone my communication and management skills.

The CEO works to ensure that the elections for student associations run fair and smoothly. Insuring that they have proper knowledge of the Bylaws and follow them thoroughly.
