The Office of Events Management at UNC-Chapel Hill aids student organizations, academic departments, and other university personnel in planning events on campus. In my position, I manage a team of 6 student events management assistants in quality performance of duties; use EMS software to create, edit, and manage reservations for over 200 campus organizations; and facilitate planning of student and university meetings and events through logistic coordination.

HireNetworks is a staffing and consulting company in the RTP area. As a summer intern I worked with 2 other interns on various company projects that dealt with various areas of the recruiting industry and running a small business. We completed over 10 projects during the summer, and one of our final deliverables was a comprehensive social media strategic plan to increase the company's visibility and effectiveness online.

The AICPA is the official professional organization for Certified Public Accountants. During the summers of 2008, 2009, and 2010 I (1) processed & applied cash for membership dues for the company’s 350,000 members using Oracle Software and (2) created & posted an average of 200+ payments daily.

Aided in the program's exposure by planning and hosting events that raised awareness about the benefits and opportunities available by obtaining a UNC Business Essentials certificate.
