Brave is an empowerment movement that aims to give students a tool to protect themselves against sexual assault. Our first product, the Braveband is a discreet smart bracelet that students could use to instantly notify friends anytime they are separated from the group, intoxicated, or find themselves in a threatening situation. All a student needs to do whenever they feel threatened is tap the bracelet twice to send an instant vibration to their friend's bravebands and their exact location will get sent to everybody’s phones in their network.
