I grew up on the internet, so that means I'm supposed to be super techy and digital junkie, right?Right, kind of. Like most, I found YouTube and forums back in the early stages of the internet. I learned most of my early "techy" skills using those YouTube video tutorials. They taught me skills like digital editing, marketing, photography...the likes. I realized that I found a passion at a very young age, and wanted to explore that passion further.I completed and earned my certificate in Graphic Design when I graduated Whittier Technical High School in 2013.I entered the work force not longer after graduating, and learned that not only am I pretty good at graphic design and photography, but I was pretty darn good in Sales. Who would've thought? I joined Arthur Murray as a Social Media Specialist, honed in on those skills of "Social Media Marketing" and also became a pretty good ballroom dancer in the meantime. Good enough...to start teaching dance myself? Almost! I learned that being a dance teacher is less "being a good dancer" and more "you have to be a good enough teacher to show someone with two left feet how to not have two left feet." You have to be charismatic, witty, sales oriented, and ready for the next thing thrown at you.Whilst teaching at Arthur Murray, I also became a Sales Supervisor for the Print & Marketing Center at Staples. Boy, what a job with such HARD but rewarding challenges. I have the ability to partner every day with different business owners, both big and small, to help their business grow in the best possible way. I get to welcome the same customers (and new customers, of course!) daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, by name (I am REALLY good at remembering faces, and names, by the way!) plan their next projects or whatever comes to mind really. I jump into these projects eager and excited to help them. Most people request to work with me (just sayin'.) I found such a passion in the "every day" sales. A passion I never expected, but one that definitely drives me, especially when I get that "great sale" that gets everyone going. Not only is it a passion, but it's something I am really damn good at (I don't mean to brag, but that's why you're here, right?)So, I hope you got a small glimpse of "who I am" and what really excites me.
