Leads major Race & Ethnicity team research efforts, including the biennial National Survey of Black Americans; takes a leadership role in all aspects of R&E's U.S. based surveys, including study conceptualization, methodological design, data management and quality control, editorial management, report production and publication, and media engagement and outreach; represents the Race & Ethnicity team and the Center in the media and other public events and presentations; negotiates, secures and manages research vendor contracts on behalf of the R&E team and the Center; serves as an internal advisor on various projects related to Black Americans, qualitative research, and research methodology broadly.

Project manager who leads the R&E team's research on Black American public opinion. Designs survey questionnaires; conducts data management, cleaning, and analysis; writes research reports; prepares and delivers public presentations of survey findings at conferences and for the news media.

Co-investigator and co-author for Pew's groundbreaking study, "Faith Among Black Americans". Working on all aspects of U.S-based survey research on religion, especially as related to race and African American communities.

Handled all course advising, enrollment, and orientation duties for the Master of Arts in Sociology degree program.

Taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate sociology courses in applied statistics, research methodology, race, gender, and African American Studies.
