About Kiana Miral

I recently graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and a minor in Interdisciplinary Science. While studying computer science I have become very passionate about women in STEM. I have been a part of Google IgniteCS CODE4Her and BGSU Tech Trek which both concentrate on exposing girls to computer science and different areas of STEM at young ages. I love to help young girls explore the different subjects and teach them programming with the aid of robots. My main goals through mentoring are to improve girl's problem solving skills through programming and to give them the confidence to pursue a future in STEM if that is what interests them.
