I am an alum of University of San Diego with a M.A. in Marital and Family Therapy and of San Diego State University with a B.A. in Psychology, minor in Counseling and Social Change. My philosophy is that all individuals should have an opportunity to access mental health services for wellness and recovery regardless of their ability to pay. I strive to make the world a happier and more enjoyable place to live in through my work in and outside of the field.As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, I have historically focused my work in nonprofit and outpatient clinic setting with culturally diverse clients. I specialize in working with children, teens, and families on topics such as trauma, grief and loss, depression, life transitions, identity development, anxiety, stress, and self esteem. I am passionate about collaboration with clients and walking with them through the healing process with a strength-based, trauma-informed lens.
