It was focused on areas include business operating activities analysis, accounting & taxable income reconciliation, group international fund transfers verification, activity statements and income tax return sales reconciliation, accounting and tax depreciation variance analysis and Continuity of Ownership/ Similar Business Test analysis for utilisation of income tax losses.- Secondment to a large construction sector group (turnover $50m) acting as Finance Manager. Duties are including managing AR, AP, weekly payroll, processing month-end journals and reconciliations,preparing monthly management report, job report and cashflow forecasting report, maintaining fixedasset register, HP schedules and AASB 16 leases, monthly reviewing work in progress and retentionwith project managers.- Secondment to Non-for-profit community housing organisation. Working closely with the CFO and led the finance team in the preparation of the Annual Financial Statements. Key areas of work cover property development projects WIP maintenance, equity-accounted investments, and service concession arrangements under the special contract with SA government authorities. Supporting the finance team to identify complex issues in the applicability of accounting standards and establish procedures and workpaper templates regarding the aforementioned areas.

Secondment to SAPN FP&A team.- Managing month-end-processes to deliver on accurate, timely and insightful reporting of financial performance and provide commentary and insights into variances to budgets and forecasts across operating and capital activities via Power BI.- Partnering with Business Relationship Management to deliver robust and value-add ad-hoc financial analysis.- Documenting detailed working instructions for Financial Analyst activities to ensure smooth transition and restructure of finance teams.- Collaborating closely with operational teams in Field Services, delivering on-demand analytical review across cost/profit centers, depots, projects, and delving into detailed analysis at orders and transactions level.- Attending to on-site Power BI workshops and using Power BI to develop dashboards for analytical reports with connecting to SAP database. - Identifying key opportunities, issues and risks with existing working processes and contributing to the streamlining and simplification of procedures.- Major project engaged with: Flooding Costs Passthrough Submission Key duties are: - Building up financial models to integrate various level of data extracted from SAP GUI. - Reviewing data at the transactional level to identify flood expenditures. - Summarising and Analysing flood expenditures by Cost centers, Cost Types, and Area and Groups. - Meeting with Auditor and gathering information for audit queries.
