I spent 17 exciting years in retail, working in a broad spectrum of positions at companies both large and small. I started my career at Target Corp. and spent 12 years in Merchandising with roles in inventory management, buying, and strategy. While there, I also had the privilege of being assigned 2 different roles based in London working with overseas partners and collaborators. After Target, I had the exciting opportunity to lead Askov Finlayson, an independent retail store and brand through 7 years of YOY growth. While there I oversaw store and brand operations and financial management and co-led a small but mighty team through a store move and build-out, an owned brand launch and private label development, collaborations with Target and other local artists, and numerous operational improvements.I am currently enjoying my favorite full-time role as the mom of three amazing girls, while doing my best to keep us all organzied, happy, fed, grounded, and to our activities (mostly) on time. It makes me happy to use my head and my heart volunteering with various organizations.
