Auxiliares de Conversación assists teachers in teaching the English Language. It’s specific functions are fundamentally aimed at reinforcing students oral skills.

Waitstaff attend to guests in a dining environment. Responsibilities include having working knowledge of liquor, beer, and wines, take meal orders, serve guest and work in collaboration with other staff members.

The Woodlawn Project led by Dr. Kerry Green, PhD. explores risk and protective factors on the path to successful or troubled adulthood in a group of African Americans from the same disadvantaged inner city community in Chicago. As an Interviewer, I complete phone interviews inquiring about health and life outcomes of participants.

Over the course of a week, myself along with 22 other students had collected and donated over $11,000.00 worth of dental hygiene products and assisted dentists with dental treatments for people in different communities.

I work as both a receptionist and assistant; duties as a receptionist include scheduling appointments, making phone calls, handling payments, and other administrative work. As an assistant, I prepare and sanitize rooms, clean instruments, and work along with the dentist during different procedures.

The position handles and supervises dogs during their boarding and daycare stay. The dogs would receive attentive care, feeding, bathing, cleanup, play time and interaction management.

Over the course of three years, I have babysat and nannied for many families, taking care of children from the ages of 18 months to 13 years old. During these jobs, I would promote good behaviors with positive reinforcement, driving children to and from appointments and other outings, I helped with homework, and more.

I worked in customer services as a hostess. I greeted and conversed with guests as they come in, take people to their table, solve problems on the spot, do side jobs and worked with others.

For 120+ hours, I had the chance to shadow 4 pediatric dentists at growing smiles and observed them performing different dental procedures, dental hygiene checks, and behavioral management techniques.
