A proud Tacoma native and resident of Central Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood, I am a dedicated community advocate, passionate about giving back and building a stronger, more equitable future. With a master’s degree in public administration from The Evergreen State College, my career has been rooted in public service, with a focus on supporting young people, increasing affordable housing, and expanding local business development.As an At-Large Council Member for the City of Tacoma, I prioritize uplifting underrepresented voices and ensuring that their needs are addressed across city government. I currently chair the Economic and Development Committee, where I lead efforts to increase business safety, foster new development, and remove barriers to building much-needed housing. My work is driven by a deep commitment to health equity and sustainable community growth.In addition to my role on the City Council, I co-founded Impact Development Group, an organization focused on creating affordable housing and empowering Black and Brown women developers. My mission is to make Tacoma a place where everyone has an opportunity to thrive—by driving systemic change, advocating for economic opportunities, and championing inclusive, community-centered development.

#DesignTheHill is a community development initiative through which historic Hilltop residents reclaim physical, economic, civic and cultural space to abolish displacement, transform vacancy and waste into agency and opportunity, and redistribute power in community development and city planning.
