The National Field Representative (NFR)/Assistant Counsel serves as a liaison between NTEU local chapters and headquarters. NFRs represent NTEU and employees in arbitration and other administrative forums, such as the EEOC, MSPB, and FLRA. They also work with chapters to build their membership and improve their operations, conducting training and membership recruitment.
