Responsible for developing network design for wireline and broadband infrastructures.Applies the necessarily tools and engineering principals to create and design the network infrastructure in accordance with approval guidelines. Working with Lab, product development and other engineering teams to actually author process documentation, methods and procedures for current planing capacity management and network builds. Coordinate and interfaces with internal and external customers to ensure service commitment are met. Provide initial implementation support of network to assure proper execution and provides resolution for system failures or degradation.

• Responsible for owning and managing all day-to-day maintenance, system administration, and performance engineering of the U-Verse IPTV Platform.• Fully responsible for the uptime and availability of the IPTV servers nationally.• Responsible for the proactive and reactive fault management of the U-verse network and support applications for AT&T’s corporate initiative to deliver IPTV to customers.• Leading technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, alternative solutions, testing and implementation of fixes and change management activity in U-Verse IPTV Platform.• Oversee any work performed on the platform and work closely with Labs, and vendors for any upgrades or enhancements. • Data platforms/elements supported include, but not limited to: Microsoft Mediaroom, Microsoft SCOM, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Server 2003/2008, SQL Server 2008, IIS 6/7, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MS Cluster, .net framework, XML, SOAP, Terminal Server, etc.• lead and assist with various projects technical in nature that address architectural gaps, product evolution, planning initiatives and coordination between internal and external groups including vendors.• Provide technical coaching and mentoring to other team members.
