Kia Robinson Hatfield has been working in the Media and Marketing industry for nearly two decades in multiple facets. From radio marketing and branding to festival marketing and production, she is no stranger to the entertainment field and advertising marketplace. Kia is currently the Director of Programs, Marketing, and Communications at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Foundation where she assists in its mission to promote, preserve, perpetuate and encourage the music, culture, and heritage of communities in Louisiana. Kia works with a team to oversee festival production, marketing strategies, branding, connecting artists with the marketplace, and communication and social media efforts across the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Foundation.Prior to working at the Foundation, Kia was the Promotions Director at Cumulus Broadcasting (formerly Citadel Broadcasting)- New Orleans where she oversaw and monitored promotions and communications for WDVW, WMTI, KKND, and KMEZ. Kia also created detailed marketing plans, schedules, and presentations for account executives used to generate and increase revenue for an assortment of clients including, Feld Entertainment (Disney On-Ice & Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus), Foot Action, New Orleans Zephyrs, Popeyes, Subway, and many more. She also worked briefly as the Interim Interactive Director with the primary responsibilities of maintaining all four station websites, web promotion, graphics, e-mail communication, and ad trafficking.
