Kia is a Cyber Forensics & Security student at Marshall University minoring in Web & Game development. Due to graduating in Spring 2023. My passion for computers and basketball brought me to Marshall University. As a student-athlete, time management, hard work, and determination have always defined who I am. During my high school basketball career, I discovered this as practices started getting longer and school was getting harder. Through those challenges, I realized that the only limit to my success is myself. Prioritized long-term goals are developing a career as a software developer and just being happy. I am confident that my skill set, competitive edge, attention to detail, and passion for cyber forensics & software development will primarily contribute to achieving these career goals. I value a harmonious work environment, effective leadership, and creating meaningful relationships. These values are vital in the career that I am striving for.Through my hardships, I discovered a core of strength that propels me to conquer any obstacle life might throw my way. It also gave me the confidence to do amazing things when I put my mind to something. I believe that by transitioning that mentality to my professional career, the sky is the limit.
