Kia is excited to grow with a team of diverse professionals who seek to meet the intersectional and multicultural needs of people with disabilities to improve or enhance their vocational experiences. With the current climate of the world, she believes that we are all experiencing "dis-abling" conditions; specifically depression, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma. Her professional and educational experiences have taught her that disability does not have a face. At any moment, any of us can find ourselves experiencing challenges/barriers related to our mental or physical health, and at that moment, we will need compassion. We will need support. We will need one another. Kia strives to normalize diverse and inclusive thinking that fosters love and compassion for all.
