As a team member I had to do many tasks, such as being on the till to scan customers’ items that they want to purchase, and giving them the right customer service to them whenever they have a question about an item or any issues they have with it as well. Also, for this role, I would have to collect the cages from the back and bring them to the shopfloor, so that I could restock the aisle. I would also have to do reductions with a specific time to reduce certain item prices down when the expiry date is due. I would also have to deal with Deliveroo order notification where customers are requesting products they want from us and collect them and give deliveroo an update that the order is ready to be collected from the Deliveroo rider. As a team member, i would have to deal with Amazon orders, such as I would have to request the customers’ barcode and scan it to the system to confirm that their order is in our store, and then I would have to collect it and scan their package to confirm that their order has been found. Normally towards the end of my shift, I would have to do face up, meaning I would have to ensure that all the products from each aisle are tidy, positioned and presented well when the store is ready to be opened again in the morning. As a team member I would have to do other additional tasks in the store whenever it is requested from one of my team leaders.

I had to do an Inductions and train new couriers on how to do deliveries to our standard for Just eat. Also, I had to be on shifter l, meaning I had to scan couriers their profile and their equipment before they leave the Just eat hub to begin their shift and start doing their deliveries. I was also responsible for their safety of their well-being, such as I had to advise them to always wear their helmets and use our e-bikes to our standards as well. I would also be doing data entries by entering details of damaged bikes and mopeds on the spreadsheet that is given to supervisors like me from couriers before I had to send it to the mechanic team. I also had to do bike D-lock managements through the spreadsheet since I had to deal with bikes that had no D-lock keys for that bike Lock, I would have to update the status of those D-locks on whether they’re lost, damaged or have any spare keys are certain bike D-lock. Although I had to do all these main tasks, I had to also do courier shifts, meaning I had to also do deliveries as well when needed whenever it is busy and when there are less couriers on shift. As a courier supervisor I would have to support other tasks for courier coordinators as well whenever it is needed to support the business. As a supervisor I had to ensure that courier’s performance is up to standard and had to discuss with them for any issues they may for their shift and answer their question and give them advice and so on.
