I established KICVOP Uganda in 2008 to help an impoverished community of Kazo and its immediate neighbors within Nansana Town Council-Uganda. In the past six years of service delivery, i have on several occasions observed that the people in these communities have been subjected to political captivity and live under the dungeons of fear to express their needs to their "would be" helpers and those responsible for delivering these basic, necessity and social services to them.Also to my attention, is the fact that resources do exist in the nation's economic setting but can only be accessible to those who have a positive hand in the current political lineage and do not pose any threat to the governance-whether good or bad. Hindrance to accessing basic education, health and rights-which are starting points in an African Nation-is as a result of high corruption rates, embezzlement, inadequacy of followup systems and supervision models and the "Technical know who" verses "Technical know how" concepts in the employment sector.This is where we come.KICVOP Uganda, in relation to the our assessment came in with projects that will impact the lives of the community population through:1.Education Sponsorship Project2.Community Healthcare Project-Self help3.Community Library-information sharing "Knowledge is health, wealth and power"4.Community Volunteering Project-give us the skills for sustainability and we teach you our rudimentary ways of doing it.
