All board members work diligently to continue to bring vital healthcare services to those with Cerebral Palsy and other developmental disabilities in Los Angeles. Having recently completed 4 years as Chair of the Board of Directors, I currently Chair of the Board of Governors and stay very active in the areas of fundraising, advocacy, awareness, and sustainability.

I served on the National Peanut Board's Scientific Advisory Council from its inception in 2009 until 2014. From 2015-2022, I chaired the Board's National Food Allergy Awareness Committee - our charge is to disseminate and support factual evidence-based information about food allergies to individuals, schools, restaurants, public venues, and the public at large. I support these efforts at multiple medical conferences, influencer gatherings, and participation in writing and webinars.

Family Member and medical contributor to Home and Family - a daily 2 hour lifestyle show that airs on Hallmark Channel. I addressed all things pediatric and adolescent, current medical developments in the news, with an emphasis on health and safety.

Along with my business partner, Dr. Diane Truong, we created MD MOMS, the first pediatrician developed skin care line for babies. MD MOMS products combined the best of nature with cutting edge science. The company was acquired in January, 2015 by SCS Direct.

After leaving a large pediatric practice, I founded a small boutique pediatric practice in Encino CA. My business model was "no barriers to communication" and "all access to education" resulting in patient access through email, electronic medical records, an open office plan, classes in office, and formation of a solid community within our practice with a regular newsletter and classifieds available only to the practice members. My associates and I grew a significant medical home for several thousand families in the San Fernando Valley that is now sustainable, even in this medical climate.
