Pediatric Occupational Therapy Private Practice with unique twist. KidSHINE LLC offers 1:1 OT therapeutic services (accepting many insurance plans) and our innovative KidSHINE Bootcamp Program, designed and developed by Amy which (1) increases strength, motor and social skills, and confidence in ALL children, and (2) merges high intensity exercise and principles of sensory integration to improve functional outcomes in children with identified needs (SPD, ASD, ADHD).

EXERSHINEkids POWER Bootcamp Program is an OT inspired, evidence based program that I created, implemented, researched, and refined. This program targets high intensity exercise as a change agent to enhance strength, self regulation and functional outcomes in kiddos with sensory processing challenges. I am an AOTA approved provider and I lead several webinars and courses to train and certify OT practitioners in this program. The EXERSHINEKids POWER Bootcamp Program is now being implemented in over 15 clinics across the country, and countless children have benefited from participation in this program.

This novel treatment approach uses high intensity exercise as a change agent for improving sensory processing skills and functional outcomes in children with regulation challenges. OT practitioners can become trained and certified in the EXERSHINEkids POWER Bootcamp Program, which is an evidence based, group program that targets strength, regulation, confidence and community. The principles in this unique approach are derived from OT frameworks and theories, and are an eclectic, novel and relevant way to support self awareness, self advocacy, and independent carry over of self regulation strategies for pediatric clients of all ages.
