Participates in process improvement by documenting routines in the clinical areas and recommending potential solutions based on technical capabilities, system interface/integration points and application limitations. Assists with design and development of innovative recommendations for changes or enhancements to the existing systems, as well as for new system implementations that integrate with the applications. Fits application capabilities to end user requirements and workflow needs. Participates in application testing. Demonstrates good communications, organization and team building skills.Key Functions and Expected Performances: • Troubleshoot application problems, identify risks and modify/correct data in the production systems.• Ability to prioritize critical and noncritical issues setting reasonable timeframes for resolving them and requesting assistance when necessary.• Understand integration and interface processing between systems and other systems in order to resolve issues.• Assist in preparations for data conversations, system upgrades and new system implementations (including testing and documenting).• Assist in evaluating, flowcharting and recommending more efficient processes and possibly new policies and procedures.• Review feedback to team leader/mentor to determine further appropriate actions and follow up.• Effectively work with users to understand their questions/application issue and to analyze then define users’ needs.• Take ownership of issues assigned and initiative to work on issues brought to your attention.• Provide timely status reports as required or needed.• Assist in creating documentation.
