Working with Prof. Jessica Thompson on her Early Researcher Award-funded project, Borderline. Borderline uses sonic data to map areas of inequality, with the goal of using that data to predict future areas of inequality in Ontario's fastest-growing cities (Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, and Kitchener-Waterloo).Duties include user experience design, data entry, mapping, workshop planning, and accessibility audits. In this fully-remote co-op position, I worked with team members and partners across the bank to research and prioritize strategic initiatives. We worked collaboratively to provide our clients the best possible tools and services during the COVID-19 pandemic.I also had the opportunity to work on a project for CIBC's Student Leadership Academy in a team with five other students from across Digital banking. We placed first in our Line of Business with our pitch and interactive prototype, and discussed our idea with CIBC's CEO, Victor Dodig.

As an analyst on the Business Management and Client Connectivity and Innovation (CC&I) Strategy team, I had the opportunity to work on numerous exciting projects, including planning and executing a Town Hall event for over 1,100 participants; redesigning the team's internal SharePoint site; and maintaining and building Tableau dashboards. I mentored five undergraduate summer students, as an inaugural CIBC SWAT Coach.

I worked on an Agile team to create wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes in collaboration with a talented team of user experience designers. Additionally, I conducted research through surveys, formal usability testing sessions, and guerilla testing to help our team refine our prototypes. Finally, as one of 15 students selected to participate in CIBC’s SWAT Team pilot project, my team and I collaborated with other summer students and executive sponsors to come up with innovative solutions to business challenges. In our end-of-term presentation, we pitched our ideas, including a high-fidelity prototype, to a panel of executive judges.
