In my career to date, much of my work has been in support of corporate issues and helping to fulfil the Central Statistics Office (CSO) mission and goals, including ten years of experience as secretary to the CSO Partnership Committee. In my work on CSO corporate issues, I have good experience of contributing to and drafting CSO policies, to address and resolve challenges facing the CSO across all the locations between Dublin and Cork. In my career in the CSO to date, I have: • Built up specialist knowledge and expertise in the fields of Data Protection, FOI, Human Resources and Project Management. I am a qualified data practitioner and I have a degree in Human Resources. • Been a member of the project team to design and introduce the Data Office Register System to govern procedures for access to personal data and demonstrate GDPR compliance in the Office • Been a member of the management teams regarding the FÁS "Excellence through People" accreditation programme and the introduction of the partnership process in the CSO. • Managed a finance function and migrated the CSO payroll to a shared services environment During my career, I have embraced change and new technology and I have used my interpersonal skills and experience to bring people along with me through these changes and projects. I have worked hard to be visible and energetic in activities that I am involved in, both inside and outside of work; I believe that I have a reputation for delivery and getting things done. I have always worked to high standards and tried to lead by example in all the areas that I have worked in. I can deliver results by utilising the knowledge and experience that I have acquired and by embracing new learning and development opportunities.
