• Responsible for the admissions function, including international admissions as per the College’s Policies and Procedures• Responsible for the maintenance, integrity of the application process for domestic and international students.• Assess applicants documents and ensure they meet entry requirements in accordance with QQI and College regulations for all programmes• Maintain relationships with key members of staff such as course directors, marketing officers etc. to ensure the delivery of a high quality application process for applicants.• Ensure that the marketing material reflects the admissions requirements for the college.• Ensure walk-in queries are dealt with efficiently• Maintain the integrity of the student record database.• Assist in CAO processes• Communicate with applicants (Irish & International ) as to how to complete application process• Generate and issue Offer letters to successful applicants• Liaise and assist agents with International applications and guide them through the application process• Assist in the registration process of successful applicants to ensure that applicants have access to all college facilities• Communicate with potential applicants via phone and email answering queries they have on the application process• Attend open days and meet potential applicants and provide advice on courses, entry requirements and other function of the admissions process
