As part of the Pioneer migration from the Aladdin system to the Amundi platform Alto following the merger in July 2017, I was independently selected on behalf of my team to undergo training in the head office in Paris for Two weeks in Benchmarks and Indices (A new team to be created in the Dublin office).After returning I actively worked to ensure all systems required for a Dublin Benchmarks/Indices hub have been set up in order for a smooth and successful transition. I worked intensively to pass on knowledge of my training to my colleagues and we then proceeded the next stage of the large project involved to move all the indices and Benchmarks of Pioneer onto the new system of Amundi. We successfully migrated the offices of Pioneer Dublin, London, Milan & Munich under tight deadlines in an Eight Month period. The role involved constant Liaison with Portfolio managers for creation of Benchmark Indices for Funds & Derivatives performance (Reconstitution & Adjustment weighting). I also assisted where possible in the Portfolios team using applications such as Atlas, Decalog & Mediaplus in order to set up Portfolios or to maintain and update data and read/write restrictions on those Portfolios. I also provided expertise on the pricing side in Pioneer as this department was still running in tandem with the Benchmarks migration project as it had not been fully handed over to the Amundi Paris Pricing team. Successfully Migrated the Hubs of Milan, Dublin, London, Austria & Munich onto the Amundi Platform which tracked approximately 224 Billion Euro worth of Assets under Management.

My duties included but were not limited to- Daily collection of all prices for all assets in portfolio and models, both historically and intraday to evaluate in a timely manner the front office position. This consisted of checking flows from different information providers and uploading all the information in the company’s databases, verification and validation of all the prices through a reconciliation between prices supplied by different sources on a T-1 and T variation basis. Timely reporting of discrepancies to other functions (Recs., IC, NAV Impact reports).Daily/weekly collection of prices for illiquid securities and structured bonds for Front office holding evaluation purposes. Dealing with external Fund Administrators to resolve differences between their prices and our data (automatic feeds/calculations). Liaising with Front office traders and Portfolio managers for the pricing of trades to ensure compliance adherence over pricing of securities. Conducting Security/Index price analysis through Vendors, Bloomberg,Thomson Reuters, Markit and FactSet to relay pertinent information to our Performance & Risk teams on a daily basis in order trades and holdings are priced correctly and to ensure Benchmark calculations are correct. Solving Fixed Income and Dividend Queries using Bloomberg & Aladdin Paycheck and relaying this information to our Cash and Trade support team to reconcile cash expected and cash received. I also worked on Some Corporate Action checks in order to assist the Corporate Actions team when needed-Such as processing called bonds & adjusting pricing of a stock for stock split events for correct processing. This allows me to contribute more versatility to the Investment Operations department.
