I was General Manager and worked at several sites across the U.K. I have been General Manager at the University Green and Corn Exchange sites in Manchester. I have helped develop and promote managers internally and create succession plans for the companies growth.I also opened the Preston site which at the time was the most successful opening for the company. I developed and hired the team and handled all aspects of the opening along with the opening teams.

Here at All Star I wanted to gain some experience away from Casual Dining and more on the Leisure Side of hospitality.My main focus was still the smooth running of the venues restaurant, however I was able to branch out and help the running of the site as a whole.As a part of the management team I helped run the sites most successful Christmas period ever with weekly sales regularly topping £100k with private events, dinners and Christmas parties.

Had the pleasure of opening Honest Burgers first restaurant in the North. Established a stable team and helped gain a foothold in the competitive Manchester burger market.

I have undertaken the role of Centre of Excellence General Manager. In this role I know use the skills I have gathered throughout my career to develop the next generation of Byron managers. I have trained several managers from AM-GM level and inducted them into all aspects of there business in time for their new role in their own sites. I have also had one on one training days with Senior Management including Property Director and Managing Director to acclimatise them to the Byron Way and how the teams work on a day to day level.

In my role ad General manager, I handle all aspects of the business. With the help of my management, FOH and BOH teams we have developed Piccadilly Gardens into one of the most profitable restaurants in the estate, despite its relatively small footprint.I have a fantastic record when it comes to audits of both Financial and Quality Safety and take great pride in these. I have helped both trial and launch several products on site which have then gone to the wider estate including the introduction of Chicken Wings and Vegan Milkshakes. I helped identify key issues and tackle problems at a ground level before the campaigns were rolled out on a National Level. The restaurant continues to be in LFL growth despite the challenges currently facing ing there casual dining sector and myself and the team have a passion to help both our own site and the brand grow as a whole.

Part of the restaurant opening team and within a week became the Holding General Manager. Involved in all aspects of the business. Training staff both front and back of house. Employment and HR requirements. Stock management and ordering.

Promoting the good word of the Proper Hamburger. Progressed to Assistant manager after being a waiter as a part of the opening team. Kitchen trained in Canary Wharf London restaurant and management trained at CowCross Street, Farringdon. Based at Manchester Deansgate restaurant, first Northern Byron restaurant. Durinh this time i was a part of the team that won the company "Squirrel Cup". This awarded to the restaurant with highest average Mystery diner score over a year. We also gained praise for be the most welcoming restaurant.

Training staff. Maintaining high company standards in the bar of the Conference and Banqueting department. Stock management and ordering. Part of a two person supervisory team that overlooked all aspects of the conference bar which could serve up to 600 person banquets.Also a part of the conference team when required which over saw, 10 meeting rooms and Boardroom. Helped run conference, drinks events and dinners in both the Banqueting suite and also in the renowned Cloud 23 bar

Worked in a busy student bar environment. Both serving and running food in the restaurant and also serving high volumes of customers in the night club. This involved cash handling, opening and closing the bar and food safety knowledge.
