Built and led Program Management and Design team for Amazon's advertising business. Focused on excellence in design craft, global scale, ad effectiveness metrics and analysis, and program management for ad products across Amazon's core products.

Staffed and led cross-Microsoft effort to integration the Bing search engine into the Windows platform, including defining the UI, driving privacy model, partnering on index, entity, and server buildout, and creation of a server update pipeline to update Windows UI daily. Received highest scores for employee satisfaction in Microsoft Poll in my division. Built new team and project from the ground up, significant public speaking and evangelism as well as UX and technical design leadership.

Led product and engineering for core components of the Windows 8 user experience, including text input, core windowing behavior, controls for developers, and the system localization model.

Led product and engineering execution for all Windows linguistic services, including language detection, wordbreaking, and transliteration. Finally brought spell-checking to Windows. Led all developer-facing components for multilingual support in both Windows and .NET.
